First, you need to familiarize yourself with the entire list of units. Find the following files in the game folder: Datos / sp and Datos / unidades.
Open the sp file with notepad, you will see a list of units and their numeric designation, they are located in paragraphs. For instance:

From this paragraph it can be seen that this is the English infantry, in other paragraphs – the infantry of other armies, equipment, animals, city transport, etc..
If you open the unidades file (also with a notepad), you will also see paragraphs in it, each of which begins with the line numero = … After the = sign, there is a number that designates a particular unit. This code is located in the sp file.
Let’s take an example of changing the parameters of a single unit, for example, a Soviet soldier.
1) Open the sp file and find a paragraph with the Soviet infantry in it:

2) We remember its code, in this case 61.
3) Next, open the unidades file, select the Edit – Find command, enter:

Here the following lines are important for us:
vida = 48 is life, we add two zeros, and the Soviet soldier is practically invulnerable.
armadura = 0 – this is armor (I have never changed it, because with hp 4800 this parameter is not necessary).
fuerzaarmas = 5 – attack power, I make it equal to 300, then the soldier knocks down the tank with one shot from the gun.
fuerzaarmasaire = 0 – anti-air attack.
rangoarmas = 4 – firing range, I set 400, and the soldier shoots from one corner of the map to the opposite.
