All Cheats in inZOI: Money, Building & Fixes

inZOI currently has three working cheats in early access: the Meow money cheat (grants 100,000 Meow per use), Emergency Rescue for stuck Zois, and ALT-key free placement in Build Mode. All three are accessed through the in-game Psycat Guide — no console commands, no external tools. Here’s exactly how each one works and when to use it.

Why Cheats Actually Make Sense Here

inZOI launched in early access on March 28, 2025, and Krafton has been upfront: the game is still being built. That means thin content in some areas, occasional bugs, and economy systems that haven’t been fully tuned yet. Cheats in this context aren’t really about “winning” — they’re about removing friction while the game matures.

Think of it this way. You want to test out a beautiful furnished apartment, but your Zoi just started out with barely enough Meow to cover rent. Or you’ve spent an hour decorating a room only to find an object stubbornly snapping to a grid position that ruins the whole layout. These are the exact situations the current cheats address.

The Krafton roadmap confirms that more cheat options are planned for future updates, so what’s here right now is intentionally limited. But what’s available covers the three most common pain points in any life sim.

How to Get 100,000 Meow Instantly

The money cheat is the one you’ll use most. Each activation drops exactly 100,000 Meow into your current household — no cooldown, no limit on how many times you can trigger it.

To activate it:

  1. Open the Psycat Guide from the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Look at the bottom-left area of the Psycat Guide menu.
  3. Select “Use Money Cheat.”
  4. Repeat as needed — each press adds another 100k Meow.

One press gets you a furnished starter home. Three or four presses and you’re building something that would take hours of in-game grind to afford legitimately. Whether you use it once for a quick boost or spam it for a sandbox experience is entirely up to you — there’s no penalty either way in the current build.

Fair warning: the cheat applies to whichever household is currently active. If you switch households without triggering it first, you’ll need to re-open the guide for the new family.

ALT-Key Placement: The Building Trick Most Players Miss

Grid-based placement is fine for walls and floors. For furniture and décor? It gets restrictive fast. inZOI has a built-in workaround that bypasses the snap grid entirely, and a lot of players don’t notice it’s there.

While in Build Mode, pick up any object you want to place. Then hold the ALT key as you position it. The object detaches from grid snapping and moves freely, letting you place it at any angle or position within the room.

This matters more than it might sound. Diagonal furniture, off-center rugs, objects placed close to walls without that awkward gap — all of it becomes possible with ALT held. Interior designers in the community have been using this to create rooms that look genuinely distinct from the default grid-aligned layouts.

Technically, this is a feature rather than a traditional cheat code. But it’s buried enough in the UI that most players discover it by accident, if at all. Now you know it exists.

Emergency Rescue: Getting a Stuck Zoi Unstuck

Early access bugs happen. Sometimes a Zoi gets frozen mid-animation, loops the same action indefinitely, or gets physically stuck in geometry. It’s frustrating — especially if it’s your main character in the middle of an important interaction.

The Emergency Rescue tool is specifically built for this. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Open the Psycat Guide from the bottom-right corner.
  2. Select “Emergency Rescue” from the bottom-left options.
  3. Choose the specific Zoi that’s stuck from the list.
  4. The game resets that Zoi and teleports them to a nearby valid location.

You can use this on the same Zoi multiple times if the issue persists, and it works across multiple Zois in the same session. The rescue doesn’t wipe any progress, relationships, or active needs — it just interrupts whatever broken state the Zoi is in and plants them somewhere safe.

If a Zoi is repeating the same animation in a loop, Emergency Rescue is your first move before trying anything else like reloading a save. Faster, and you don’t lose recent progress.

What More Cheats Look Like in inZOI’s Roadmap

Krafton’s published roadmap indicates additional cheats are planned as part of broader updates to the game during the early access period. No specific cheat types have been officially confirmed yet, but given the trajectory — mods support, a new city, expanded career systems — it’s reasonable to expect sandbox-friendly tools like need manipulation, relationship boosts, or career advancement shortcuts.

The current three-cheat setup covers money, movement freedom, and bug recovery. What’s notably absent is anything targeting skills, relationships, or Zoi needs directly. Those gaps are likely where future cheats land first.

Check back as updates roll out through 2025. The Psycat Guide is almost certainly where new options will appear first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a console command window in inZOI like The Sims 4?

Not in the current early access build. All available cheats are accessed through the Psycat Guide UI, not a text input console. This may change in future updates.

Does using the money cheat disable achievements?

As of the March 2025 early access launch, no achievement lock has been confirmed for using money cheats or Emergency Rescue. Community testing hasn’t flagged any penalties — but this could change as the achievement system develops.

Can I use ALT placement for all objects in Build Mode?

Yes, ALT-key free placement works on furniture, décor, and most placeable objects. Structural elements like walls and stairs still follow their own placement rules and aren’t affected.

What happens to a Zoi’s needs or job after Emergency Rescue?

Emergency Rescue only resets the Zoi’s position and breaks the stuck state. Needs, career progress, relationships, and inventory all remain exactly as they were before the rescue.

Will there be unlimited build mode (no money required for building) in the future?

Krafton hasn’t officially announced a free build cheat that removes cost requirements during construction. The money cheat is the current workaround — use it before entering Build Mode to fund whatever you want to place.
