GTA San Andreas Cheats for PC: Every Code, Categorized and Explained
Every cheat code in GTA San Andreas for PC is activated by simply typing the code during gameplay — no pause menu, no console, just type it and the effect triggers instantly. Below you’ll find the complete reference for the Definitive Edition on PC, organized by category so you can find what you need fast. Fair warning before you start: using any cheat code disables achievements for that session, so save first.
How to Activate Cheats in GTA San Andreas PC
There’s no command prompt or special menu to open. While you’re in an active gameplay session — not paused, not in a cutscene — just start typing the code on your keyboard. If it works, a small notification will appear on screen confirming activation. That’s it.
A few things worth knowing before you go wild:
- Cheats carry over through the session, not saves. Reloading a save file will cancel most active cheats.
- Some effects are permanent for that save slot once triggered — specifically stat-related changes like muscle and fat.
- The wanted level lock (IDOASIPLEASE) stacks oddly with wanted level raisers; best to apply it after you’ve set the level you want.
- Vehicle spawn cheats require you to be on foot with enough space around you. Spawning a Hydra inside a building goes about as well as you’d expect.
If a code isn’t registering, check that the game isn’t paused and that you’re not mid-cutscene. Also confirm you’re not typing in a text field or mission prompt.
Money, Health, and Armor Cheats
| Effect | PC Cheat Code |
|---|---|
| $250,000 + Full Health + Full Armor | INEEDSOMEHELP |
| Infinite Health | NOONECANHURTME |
| Instant Death | GOODBYECRUELWORLD |
The combined money and health code INEEDSOMEHELP is the most practical cheat in the game for early-session use. It dumps $250,000 directly into your wallet and tops off both health and armor simultaneously — useful if you’re just messing around and don’t want to grind the opening hours again. Stack it multiple times and cash compounds fast.
NOONECANHURTME activates godmode but doesn’t protect against falls, drowning, or being run over in some edge cases — the invincibility applies to damage events from NPCs and gunfire, but the game’s physics damage calculations are a separate system. If you’re trying to survive a six-star chase without dying, pair it with IDOASIPLEASE to also freeze the wanted level.
Weapon Spawn Cheats
| Effect | PC Cheat Code |
|---|---|
| Weapon Set 1 (Thug loadout) | THUGSARMOURY |
| Weapon Set 2 (Professional loadout) | PROFESSIONALSKIT |
| Weapon Set 3 (Nutter loadout) | NUTTERSTOYS |
| Max Weapon Proficiency (all weapons) | PROFESSIONALKILLER |
| Infinite Ammo | FULLCLIP |
| Infinite Lung Capacity | MANFROMATLANTIS |
The three weapon sets escalate significantly. Set 1 (THUGSARMOURY) gives you the basics: bat, pistol, shotgun, SMG, Molotovs, spray can. Set 2 (PROFESSIONALSKIT) upgrades to Desert Eagle, SPAS-12, M4, Sniper Rifle, and grenades — the loadout you actually want for most combat situations. Set 3 (NUTTERSTOYS) hands you a Minigun, RPG, Heat-Seeker, and Flamethrower. Chaos, essentially.
One thing the weapon set cheats don’t do: max out your shooting skill. That’s what PROFESSIONALKILLER is for — it sets all weapon proficiency stats to maximum, which unlocks dual-wield on compatible weapons and tightens the accuracy cone considerably. Use it alongside Set 2 or 3 and you’re running the full combat package from the start.
FULLCLIP gives infinite ammo but does not grant weapons you don’t have. It only removes the ammo drain from whatever’s already in your inventory.
Vehicle Spawn Cheats
| Vehicle | PC Cheat Code |
|---|---|
| Rhino Tank | TIMETOKICKASS |
| Jetpack | ROCKETMAN |
| Hunter (attack helicopter) | OHDUDE |
| Hydra (jet) | JUMPJET |
| Monster Truck | MONSTERMASH |
| Stunt Plane | FLYINGTOSTUNT |
| Limo | CELEBRITYSTATUS |
| Quad Bike | FOURWHEELFUN |
| Parachute | LETSGOBASEJUMPING |

| Hotring Racer (variant 2) | JUSTTRYANDSTOPME |
| Tanker | HITTHEROADJACK |
| Trashmaster | TRUEGRIME |
| Vortex (hovercraft) | IWANTTOHOVER |
The Hydra (JUMPJET) and Hunter (OHDUDE) are the two most useful vehicle spawns in the game — both are military-grade and would otherwise require significant mission progress to access legitimately. The Hydra spawns facing the direction CJ is looking, so position yourself before typing. The Hunter comes in with basic rockets loaded.
The Jetpack (ROCKETMAN) is worth singling out because it’s not technically a vehicle but spawns as one — it equips directly and gives unrestricted vertical movement across the entire map. For traversal without dealing with traffic or wanted stars, it’s cleaner than any car.
And yes, there are two different Hotring Racer codes (VROCKPOKEY and JUSTTRYANDSTOPME). They spawn slightly different color variants of the same vehicle. Not particularly useful to know, but someone always asks.

| Max Muscle | BUFFMEUP |
| Min Muscle | LEANANDMEAN |
| Max Respect | WORSHIPME |
| Max Sex Appeal | HELLOLADIES |
A few of these deserve more than a one-line mention. STICKLIKEGLUE (improved handling) is genuinely underrated — it tightens cornering physics considerably and makes the older vehicles in the game feel far less like steering a shopping cart. If you’re doing driving missions without full cheat mode, this one is low-key game-changing without breaking immersion much.
ALLCARSGOBOOM is listed here mostly as a warning: it detonates every vehicle in the loaded world simultaneously, including the one you might be sitting in. Use it on foot, ideally somewhere scenic. The chain-reaction explosions in dense traffic areas are impressive, for what it’s worth.
The pedestrian theme cheats (Elvis, Triad, Rural, Pimp) replace NPC models across the world and don’t just affect visuals — each theme also shifts what weapons peds carry and how they react. NINJATOWN in particular spawns Triad members with katanas, which creates a specific kind of chaos in downtown Los Santos.
STOPPICKINGONME (angry pedestrians) is one to activate only if you want a very bad time very quickly. Every NPC in range will immediately turn hostile toward CJ. Combine with NOONECANHURTME if you’re curious what that looks like but value CJ’s continued existence.
Achievement Lock and Save Timing: Read This Before Using Any Code
“Cheats cannot be active when you’re trying to unlock achievements. The flag triggers the moment a code is entered, not when the achievement attempt is made.”
This is the part most guides bury at the bottom. In the Definitive Edition on PC, entering any cheat code during a session sets an internal flag that blocks achievement unlocks for the remainder of that session. This flag does not reset when you reload a save — it persists until you fully close and relaunch the game.
What that means practically:
- Save before entering any cheat. Create a dedicated save slot for cheat sessions. If you’re partway through a run and realize you entered a code earlier, that session is done for achievements.
- Stat cheats leave permanent marks. Codes like WHOATEALLTHEPIES, BUFFMEUP, and LEANANDMEAN alter CJ’s physical stats and those changes persist into your save. Fat and muscle values written to your save file by a cheat remain after reload.
- GOODBYECRUELWORLD kills CJ instantly and triggers the death respawn sequence with full stat penalties. There’s no situation where this is useful. It’s listed here for completeness — don’t type it unless you mean it.
- The wanted-level lock (IDOASIPLEASE) does not disable mid-mission fail triggers. Missions that script a fail condition based on wanted level will still fire even with the lock active.
The cleanest workflow: keep two saves — one clean run you never touch cheats on, one sandbox save where anything goes. The Definitive Edition’s autosave system will occasionally overwrite your most recent manual save, so name your clean slot something obvious and save to it manually before any session where you might experiment.
All codes here were verified against the Definitive Edition PC build as of January 2025. Rockstar has patched the DE release several times since launch, and while cheat code strings haven’t changed, activation behavior in certain edge cases (particularly during mission scripting) can vary slightly across builds.
