China controls gamers
The Chinese authorities reported that from July 15, a program that controls the time of adolescent residence in virtual worlds will be launched. Those who have not reached 18 years will allow MMORPG for no more than five hours a day. Monitor compliance with the rules will be a “smart” system based on personal identifiers.
Officials hope that such a decision will help to overcome the dependence on online games, which 13% of juvenile gamers suffer in China.
