Myst 5: End of Ages: Game Walkthrough and Guide

K’Veer)
After the introduction, look around around: you ended up in a round dilapidated room with seven closed doors. Complete around the hall and go to the stone table, covered with a carpet on which the lamp stands and lies the book. You can raise the book, but you will not be able to open it yet, – it is reliably locked. So just return it to the place. Turn to the right and go to the next door, on it you will see a round bottom handle. If you want, you can check, but I can immediately tell you that all other doors are securely locked, and only one of them has a handle, and only it can be discovered. Now translate the mouse pointer to the door handle and pull it down as you would do it in real life. By the way, you better get used to get used to the fact that in this game it is often not enough to simply “click” on the “active” subject, many manipulations with them will need to be carried out almost the same as you do it in life.
So, open the door and go to the interior. In front of you vaulted corridor. Let the head blocks the right, so you choose to you especially from what, go to the left. Get down the stairs and go to the next hall. On the left you will see a pair of narrow winds. If you want, you can approach them and look out. Widow in love, come back to the corridor. Crossing the next room, go down the stairs. To the left near the arch leading to the next corridor, you will see a lamp on the floor, burning blue light, and near him – a book and some other strange thing that will later turn out to be something like a camera. Click on the book (this is your diary) mouse pointer, and both items will simultaneously be in your “Arsenal”. From now on you get the opportunity to save your game by clicking on the “Camera” icon in the form of a shiny ball, and restore recorded games from your diary. (For details, see. In the guide to the game in the main menu).
Be in front of you, you see the staircase, and behind it – the next challenge, so there is absolutely nothing to do in front, and you with a calm soul turn to the left and pass through the narrow corridor until the next hall. In the midst of this hall (on the background of a high window) you will see a large overflowing ball, very similar to a soap bubble. The outer shell is iris, and on the inner, as it were, they reflect, alternately replacing each other, views from four different worlds – epochs. Looking around around, you will see two stairs opposite the ball. If you want, you can climb by any of them upstairs, and already from the balcony admire this fascinating spectacle.
Get down down and through the gap between the teeth enter the inside of the iris. Inspect the pedestal. You will see four pedestals with stone signs and holders surrounding the central plate (it is called Skrizalal). It all overflows in some kind of magic blue glow. Touch this central talked. The glow will disappear, and you can consider it closer.
Now unfold and leave the iris. Here you will meet with Izehi (let me forgive me MYST V translates, but those who played in Myst IV, I got used to call the daughter of the athletic case). Listen to everything she tells you. After that you will automatically be transferred to the crater…
Volcano
Once here, you will get acquainted with a man in sunglasses – Escher. Listen and his story. Escher will accompany and guide you throughout your travel.
(Between the case, pay attention to the fact that another book appeared in your props in your proper. All monologues of the characters of the game will now be recorded in it. They may be unspecified in a difficult moment – there will be hints).
Now, if you want, you can bypass the crater and consider all the stones with different drawings, as well as the stone “sword”. At one of the large stones you will find the very hole in the ground, which Esher spoke about.
Underground
Go down to the passage, down the stairs, go through the hall with the underground river and leave the middle of the long corridor. On the right you will immediately see the blue lamp, as well as the book in a pale yellow cover with a greenish symbol. Raise the book and open it. This is the diary of Eishhi. Read and listen to it and you will learn that only 12 such diaries are scattered here. And in order to safely cope with your task, you need to collect and read them all. When you close a diary, you will see that he took one of the empty places, and there are 11 more such cells, where all other books will be placed as you find them.
Now look to the right, and you will see another lamp (ordinary light), near which the second part of the Yehchi Diary. Select and read this book. Continue to go to the right until you see the passage to another room. Come in the rest room.
On the left you will see something like a translating device. Click on the blue glow button and turn on the holographic recording of the message. Then turn right and go forward to benches (or clamshells?) on which another book lies. Take and read the third part of the Yehi diary. Explore the room, consider beds in niches, some kind of metal installation, old lamps and other useless trash. On one of the beds, you will find a strange drawing (a little later you will understand that it was a drawing of an elevator).
Turn face to get out of the rest room. To the left of the door you will see a niche in which the pedestal is located with a book. This book-portal in another era – DIBO. Click on the book, then – on a moving picture in it, and you are going to…
DIREBO (DIREBO)
Here you will see Escher (already without glasses), and he will tell you a little about Dyaven and about the first era, which he recommends to visit you. Rainbow Sphere, carrying in this era located right in front of you.
So, Dybo is like a “intermediate” world between the epochs that you have to visit. If you drew attention to the drawing under a moving picture of the book-portal, then you will understand that where you have found yourself, you can see four island connected by four wooden bridges. Each island is located on the same rainbow sphere, and each of them – a portal in one of the era. Also near each sphere is a pedestal with a book-portal leading to one of the four entities of the underwor world of De’ney.
At the time of your first arrival in Dybo, all the walkways between the isons are closed by the knotters on both sides.
So from now on for further action you have two possible tactics.
First tactics: solve all the tasks as they arrive. That is, right now go to the first era (it is called Tagir). To fulfill everything that can be done in it, return to Dybo and move to the first place of rest of the underground world. Then, continuing to learn the underworld, to find a second holiday room and, accordingly, the second portal book, leading to Disebo. Move to Disebo, enter the second rainbow sphere and move to the second era. Perform all tasks in the second era, then return to Dybo, move to the underground world, find the third lounge room and T.D. and T.D.
The second tactic: to focus on the underground world and, having completed all the tasks in it, with a relaxed soul to walk “Walk” on the epochs. Naturally, for this, you will first need to sprinkle all locked knots closing the way through wooden bridges.
The choice is yours. Personally, it will be easier for me to describe the passage, following the second tactics, so do this amendment when you search for your tips.
So, before returning to the underground world, go to one of the wooden bridges opposite the iris and pressing the button on the glowing blue light, open the knot. Then go to the second bridge and exactly open the second knot. Return to the pedestal with the book-portal and return to the entry of the underworld.
Get out of the lounge in a long corridor and turn right. Pass forward, past the mysterious inscription on the right wall. The upper part seems to be written in the Language of De’ni, the lower consists of graphic signs (apparently, the language of creatures, called Barro). Immediately after this inscription you will see the opening in the wall (there is another ordinary lamp in front of him). Through this opening, enter the next round room.
In the middle of the hall you will see a pillar of light, falling on something like a pedestal, on the shape of a resembling wheel from cart. And in the walls you will see three doorway.
If you go along the wall right, then you first see something like a lever, and then the first closed door. Continuing to go along this wall, you will find yourself near the second opening – open. Enter a small tunnel ending dead. At his very end you will find the fourth diary of the Eaushi lying near the lamp. Pick it up and read it. Get out of the corridor and turn right. Come closer to the third closed door (greenish color). Here you will meet with Escher. He will tell you that the way down lies just through this door. When the Esher disappears, turn the lever to the right of the door. Enter through the opened door with a greenish “threshold” in the form of the sun. Pay attention to the lever on the right and without touching it, pass forward through the tunnel in the next round room. Right in front of yourself you will see a great mine out deep down. Turn to the right, go a little ahead to see the ears and listen to what he will tell you.
Then go forward to the ladder, climb on it and turn face to the mine. Left in front of yourself you will see a lever. Translate it to the opposite position (pull onto yourself), turn right and wait until the elevator cabin arrives. Sign in it and pull the handle hanging on top in front of you. When the elevator stops, the first thing you will see – entrance to the second holiday room. Get out of the elevator platform and go ahead. Go to the room. On the left you will see some lattice, right – niche with bed. On the bed lies the fifth book of the diary of the day. Come, take and read it. As mentioned above, in this resting room there is a second pedestal with a book-portal. Go to it, click on the book, then in the picture, and you will again find yourself in Dybo. Next to the pedestal is the second rainbow sphere – the way to the second epoch (Todelmer).
Go to the gates covering wooden bridges, and open them. After that, come back to the pedestal with a book and move to the underground world.
Get out of the rest room, turn left and go to the second elevator platform. Come to the lever and select the sixth book of the Yehi Diary. The second elevator is controlled in the same way as the first. Translate the first lever, wait for the arrival of the cockpit, go to it and pull for the second hanging lever. After the second crossing end, turn down and go to the right down the stairs. When you descend (to the second red carpet), then the Escher will appear before you. He will tell you about what you need to “raise the platform and run fans”. It is not too clear yet, what kind of platform are we talking about.
Go forward, turn left and go down the stairs. There you will see (and not for the first time) of the runaway and disappearing barro (so call these creatures). Go behind him, that is, down on the right stairs. Reaching the platform, go down again, there will be another playground, and again – down. On this site, you will see a pedestal with a big blue button on its top and something like a twisted handle on the side. Near the pedestal lies the seventh book of the Yehi diary. Raise and read it.
So, the button you see in front of yourself is one of those that activates the platform about which Escher told you. The fact is that to raise it, you for the definite (t.E. Limited time) You must click one after another three buttons. Therefore, before performing this task “for a while,” I recommend you bypassing the hall and find the two remaining necessary buttons to not fuss, but to know the direction in which you need to run. Go down the stairs until the next site, and leave it to the balcony. Stay and see: Exactly opposite, on the other side of the hall you will see a similar balcony. Turn left, descend on the ladder and on the mosaic stone floor, go to the center of the hall. There you will see a pedestrian with something like a big button with black ornament. This is the third, the last button you will need to click. When you activate the first two, then this button will push up and will glow red. Now, standing in the center of the hall, wrap back and look at the sign that is visible exactly in the center, above the ladder lined with a red carpet. It is blue (like that button you saw). Now unfold and look towards the second balcony on the opposite side. Again the steps covered with a carpet, and again the same sign, only yellow. It should suggest you what will need to look for a yellow button. So, go now to that balcony, climb on the left staircase, get to the site, then – more on one stairs up. On the next site, you will see the second pedestal, only the button on it, as expected, is already yellow. Now you know exactly, in which direction you will need to run. Cross the round room again and return to the pedestal with a blue button. When you click on it, then the twisted “handle” automatically moves to the other side and starts returning to the place with small jerks, that is, the timer will turn on and the “countdown” will start. That is why, as already mentioned, you need to hurry so that for the released time you have managed to reach the yellow button and by clicking on it, run and the second mechanism. After pressing the yellow button, right run to the center of the hall – to the red. Click on it, and if you managed on time, then the floor of the hall, in which you stand, will start climb up. So it turns out to be what kind of platform! When the movement is over, look around around. You will see four passages with red carpet tracks (the corners of which before that hung in the air, remember?), as well as – elevator, from “headlights” of which are two powerful beam of light. Find the second pass to the left of these rays and go through it to the opening in the wall. Enter a small room. To the left of you at the wall you will see some installation with the lever in the middle. Under the lever lies the next part of the Yehi diary – the eighth. Raise and read it. Now translate the lever to the left position. Turn left and go to the third holiday room. Turn on the holographic installation by clicking on the luminous blue button, and listen to the new message. Go to the pedestal with the book-portal and postpone the Disebo. Here you will see the rainbow sphere, leading to the era of Nolobin. Go to Wooden bridges and open the knotting, overlapping the path. Return to the pedestal with a book and move to the underground world.
