Bethesda canceled the retail versions of Doom Eternal for Switch – the game will be released only in the “digit”

Doom Eternal still going to get to Nintendo Switch, but when it happens – a mystery. Publishing house Bethesda Softworks long ago did not remember the version for the hybrid console, so the message that has recently received some pre-soldiers turned out to be especially frightening.

The Gamestop store began notifying its customers that Doom Eternal For Switch canceled, and pre-orders are reset. IGN contacted S Bethesda and found out that only the version on physical media is canceled. Publisher expressed this:

Digital Release Preparation Doom Eternal For Switch, it goes in full swing, but the lack of physical version for retail chains led to cancellation of pre-orders. Returning users will receive a full return of funds. For further information, they should contact a preferred retail store.

As users suggest, the abolition of physical versions is somehow related to the cost of carriers for Switch: Say, the game turns out so big that Bethesda would have to buy volumetric cartridges, and they are on the console Nintendo expensive.

That Doom Eternal For Switch will be released later than the rest of the versions, announced back in October 2019. Since then, the intelligent news on this topic was not – we do not even know how bad what the game on the semi-correct console looks like.
