“I can cope with the Russian” – 17 minutes of Gameplay Chernobylite

On GamesCom 2019 The Farm 51 Showed a gameplay demo horror Chernobyl. A week ago, the company laid out a trailer, and today – a full-fledged presentation of the game.

In the video, the protagonist and his associates are secretly penetrated into the territory of the Chernobyl NPP. Judging by the description of the roller, this is a scene from the beginning of the game. Episode is clearly linear, with a focus on production and an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Graphics, sound, animation – almost everything in the demo seems to be fine, but with Russian dubbing trouble. Sometimes the characters sound terribly unnaturally, and aggravates the problem of a bad adaptation – for example, the English proverb Curiosity Killed The Cat The authors transferred literally: “Curiosity killed a cat”.

Chernobyl Starts in “Early Access” Steam this fall. Console versions will appear later.
