Lost Ark – World Tree Leaves Guide

In this article I’ll discuss what exactly World Tree Leaves are, World Tree Leave locations and how you can obtain it as well as the rewards that come along with it.

Introduction to World Tree Leaves

Lost Ark has been around for a while now and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Some would argue that it’s on par with other big MMO titles out there. And boy oh boy there’s plenty to do in Lost Ark. It’s filled with quests that you can complete, locations that you can explore, creatures that you can kill, and collectibles for you to discover. There are a total of 8 different type of collections that you can collect. Along with Masterpieces and Giant’s Heart, World Tree Leaves is one of them. For collecting up to 72 World Tree Leaves, you will be awarded with various rewards.  Whilst fishing or mining, you might have noticed a # World Tree Leaf pop up. (If you are lucky – because the RNG is really bad for some people). Unfortunately, there is no fixed location or specific method for farming them. Using your trade talents is the most common way to obtain World Tree Leaves in Lost Ark. Logging, fishing, mining, and other activities fall under this category. It will take some time to obtain all of the World Tree Leaves, but if you continuously use life skills, you will ultimately obtain them. As with most collectibles, there is an NPC for World Tree Leaves. Chapman is the World Tree Leaf Merchant, and he can be found with the tag “Exchange World Tree Leaf” in all of Lost Ark’s major cities.

Furthermore, for all of you completionists out there, collecting World Tree Leaves will grant you three achievements. There are three achievements that can be obtained. One when collecting 20 World Tree Leaves, then 40 and 60.

How to get World Tree Leaves

The first step is to get the quest: “Collecting Collectibles for Fun”.

Learn about Trade Skill Collectibles (read our trade skill guide here) and World Tree Leaves from Merchant Chapman. You can use one of these Trade Skills to get the harvest

• Get Luminous Seeds through foraging. (0/5)
• Get Splendid Fruit from logging. (0/2)
• Get Dazzling Ore from mining. (0/5)

Return to Neria’s Tavern in Prideholme and chat with Chapman. You can acquire your first World Tree Leaf from Chapman at Castle Luterra after finishing the aforementioned mission. It’s only a matter of RNG while using your Trade Skills and if you lucky, you will start collecting them. A greater life skill level increases the likelihood of a World Tree Leaf appearing at random.

Rewards for collecting World Tree Leaves

When gathering a certain amount of World Tree Leaves, you can unlock the rewards below. To collect these rewards, you can go to any main city and speak to Chapman. Collecting World Tree Leaves can assist you become more powerful in Lost Ark. At every 6 leaves, you can unlock a specific reward that includes bonuses, crafting skills, and talismans, among other items. The collection system doesn’t reward that much, but mainly offers boosts to life skills. These rewards are more important for players invested into foraging, mining, logging, hunting, fishing or excavating and may not be of any interest to other players.

Bonuses from World Tree Leaves:

• 12 World Tree Leaves will provide you with a Faint Ore Charm that provides a life skill gathering boost and +1 to all life skills.
• At 36 leaves, the charm is upgraded to Faint Citrine.
• The Faint Citrine will be upgraded to the Silent Citrine at 48 leaves.
• 18 World Tree Leaves will net you the Adept Craft Kit which will allow you to craft purple life skill tools. You will most likely have already gotten purple tools by this point, but it does save you some lost ark
• 24 World Tree Leaves rewards the Masterpiece # 11 and it’s useful for its collection system.

After every 6 World Tree Leaves, a new reward will be unlocked in a specific order. These include bonuses for crafting skills. That will be 8 rewards at 48 World Tree Leaves.

As mentioned earlier in the article, the rewards and bonuses from collecting World Tree Leaves are aimed more for people who mainly forage, fish, mine etc. Players who focus mainly on PvP might not be interested, unless you’re a completionist and want to complete everything. (Like me) It’s important to note that once you have found the max World Tree Leaves for a specific Life Skill, you cannot gather more from that particular Life Skill. So, for example: If you have already collected all World Tree Leaves from fishing, if you keep fishing – you won’t find anymore.
