I don’t know why, but maybe someone will need them to get achievements easier. You will not be able to get the following achievements:
Bookworm (find 25% of documents)
Antiquary (find 25% of artifacts)
You can search for the remaining documents (they are marked on the map, like all tombs) and it is much easier to get achievements

Steam / userdata /187536290/ 203160 / remote (in the dedicated folder you will have different numbers, each one has its own)
