Gill will probably be closed if you don’t have the corresponding DLC and have to open it manually – I’m not sure about that. Also, I’m not sure if the game will reset the deep switches to default if you don’t have the appropriate DLC. If you have this DLC, don’t forget to re-configure them as you see fit.
Just in case, make a backup of your save – it’s never superfluous. Have a nice game.
