BioShock Infinite: Code (1999 Mode) Free Download
Description:
Back in January last year, Irrational announced that BioShock Infinite would include a hardcore mode dubbed “1999 mode”, a reference to the old school complexity of shooters. This mode was supposed to open up to players a choice of specialization, which was supposed to give the character a strictly defined set of powers and skills – unlike the entire arsenal of a regular game.
The player could not roll back skills, the death of the character is permanent. In announcing 1999 Mode, the team announced that the only way to open it is to play the game for the first time.
However, if you want to start playing BioShock Infinite right away on hardcore, you can use the Konami Code in the main menu, which gives you access to “1999”.
Installation instructions:
In the main menu of the game, enter the following key combination:
On PC: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Esc, Enter
Xbox 360: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A
On PS3: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, O, X
If the code is entered correctly, the following window will appear on the screen:
Also, the achievement “Forget Old Love …” is unlocked in Steam.
