Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom: Advice (Solving the problem of losing saves after a system freeze)

Dear comrades! After several hours of brain-massaging, I found a solution to the problem. I will not describe which version of the game, etc. but I will immediately write down what the problem is and how to fix it.

In general, the dog is buried in the game save folder, namely in the filemappings.ini configuration file

You see, after the computer hangs up and reboots it, there is a chance that f.y. (config file) can be “edited” (corrupted). It is important because it contains the Addresses to your dear saves, therefore – there will be no file or it will be empty, there will be no access to the saves. Saves do not disappear anywhere and are not deleted, only f.y. XZ why = _ =…

The filemappings.ini file should contain the following text:

[Mapping]
autosave \ data.bin = AUTOSAVE / data.bin
system \ data.bin = SYSTEM / data.bin
userdata00 \ data.bin = USERDATA00 / data.bin

If the file is empty, just add this “set of letters” and Lo and behold! The save will be available for download! (unless of course you have started a new game in the same slot))

Personally, this method helped me. Ask if it will not be clear. If I can, I will answer, because in these matters I am not strong: D

Please do not forget to put “I like” if this advice helped you! 🙂
