If someone gets a white screen before talking to Leonardo, try loading this save. I have not tested it, but it should help.
Unpack the contents of the archive to: C: \ Program Files \ Assassin’s Creed II \ Ubisoft Game Launcher \ storage \ bWVjaGFuaWNz

The folder “bWVjaGFuaWNz” may have a different name.
Load the second save in the game.
