1.If you are playing with cloud saves:
We go into the folder where the steam is installed, then: userdata \ 156601698 \ 219990 \ remote \ save \ main (YOU WILL HAVE OTHER NUMBERS, THIS IS IMPORTANT)
2. If you play without cloud saves: C: \ Users \ (Your pc name) \ Documents \ my games \ Grim Dawn \ save \ main (may work for pirates, but not a fact)
