Description of this function from the author of the program: This one also allows you to add / edit / remove additional players and their name / staff / weapon for save games that contain multiple players.
3.the program has 3 slots for sets of equipment (well, like, probably, so as not to bother a hundred times looking for weapons in the list, but immediately create three sets of weapons and switch between them) – I did not check this function, it seems to me a lot from it is not large (because all the same, in order to edit the inventory, the game must be turned off, i.e. you cannot switch between sets right in the game)
Description from the author: It’s possible to add multiple players’ loadouts to a savegame. For example, if you play with 3 other people, their items get saved of course, but if you continue later with 3 other people, the first ones still get saved. With this editor, you can edit everyone’s items, add new ones or delete unused ones.
Instructions:
1.place the editor file in the folder where the game exe file is stored (I have it in this one: C: \ Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ magicka \)
2. turn off the game (if it is running), start the editor, in the “Magicka Adventure” column, select the storyline that you are going through
3. press Load, select the campaign.sav file, you can start editing
!!! If, in addition to editing equipment, you are going to change the name of your character, then in order for the equipment to be saved, the character name must be the same as on the hero selection screen in the game itself, otherwise your character’s equipment will be reset to its original state due to inconsistency profile names (and then you will have to remember the name of the weapon that you had equipped before the reset).
If you still want to play with a different character name, then you need to delete the “Profile.sav” file (don’t worry – your progress will not be erased) from the folder where campaign.sav is located, go into the game, in the hero selection window, press the button on the keyboard Esc, press “join”, select “create new”, enter a new name, load the game, run for 10 seconds and exit. Now open the save editor, select campaign.sav, delete your old profile from the list of players, edit your new profile inventory, follow steps 4 and 5 of my instructions.
4. when you’re done editing, click the Save button, select campaign.sav again and agree to the replacement
5.You can close the editor and start the game
