Good day. As fans of this game know, RR6 had skins for cars that could only be opened by playing online. At the moment, online at RR6 is most likely dead (not checked, to be honest), so I’m rolling out a way to open these skins without any online.
Ridge Racer 6: Save Game (Opening the online machines, skins) Free Download
So, take your save from the pine tree and open it in a hex editor. You need a blue colored address (0x0000DE67 to DE7D).

In all saves, this address is the same, so it’s simple. Along with the online skins, the race against Pak-Man and all five messages from Reiko will open. I was too lazy to highlight only skins specifically. I was satisfied with the result, and the rest can fix the technique on their own.
DLC skins are highlighted in pink, by the way. Yes, DLC files are essentially unnecessary. I would kick the developer, but DLC for skins is still free, so let’s call it a feature.
And the address from DD35 to DE1F (not visible in the screenshot) shows if all skins that are not online or DLC are open. If my memory serves me: 00 – closed, 02 – open, but when entering World Xplorer they will show a video to open the car, 05 – open. I could be wrong, I’ve been digging for a long time, but I was too lazy to put it out right away. In short: always make backups.
The attached file is my save. You weren’t going to retype the values from the screenshot, were you? BTW, this is a 100% save for Ridge Racer 6.

So, grab you savegame from your sucksole and open it in hex-editor. You need the address which is highlighted with bluish color (refer to the screenshot above; it is from 0x0000DE67 to DE7D).
This address is the same in all savegames, so there should be zero troubles. Down with the online skins you will open the Pac-Man race and all fie Reiko messages. I was way too lazy to point out the skins. I’m satisfied with the result, and anyone, who’s not, can finish it up themsleves.
Highlighted with pink, by the way, are the DLC skins. Yep, you actually do not even need the DLC files. I’d kick the devs, but the DLC skins are actually free, so let’s just call it an option.
