There was an attempt to pump the skill branches completely, but due to the bug of the game (a random event can “reset progress” and give only 1 “star” instead of 2-3 (do not neglect saves); without 3 “gold stars” you cannot access the test , without which it is impossible to use all the skills in the mission at the same time), it was possible only in capturing for the Allies and in the Winter Storm add-on (in the latter, 8 “stars out of 12” are enough to use everything).
