To install the save, you need to download the selected file.
The Long Dark: Save Game Free Download
It is in the archive, so you will need to unzip it. The resulting file must be copied to the game save folder, which is located at:
- System Drive: \ Users \ Username \ AppData \ Local \ Hinterland \ TheLongDark
system drive – the drive on which the operating system is installed, in most cases it is drive “C”
username – the name of the account that is entered when the computer boots
After the desired file is in the folder with other saves, you can run The long dark and use the selected mode in your survival.

The weight of the backpack is fixed at 15 kg, regardless of the amount of contents. There are nine bunkers on the territory of the Mysterious Lake.

The hero is in the Desolation Zone, warming himself by the fire near the trailer, near the Whaling Station. The following feats are activated: Like a Clock and Cold Fusion. The map of the location is completely open, three moose and three bears live on its territory. Hero’s skills have been pumped up to level 3. The weight of the backpack is fixed at 25 kg, regardless of the amount of contents. The character has at his disposal: a hacksaw, a heavy hammer, three dry maples, twenty dry birches, simple tools, a magnifying glass, three liters of water, ten stems of timothy and woolen pants.
