inZOI Cheats: Complete List for Version 0.2.0
Full guide to enabling and using every cheat in inZOI Version 0.2.0, including money, character, build, and quality-of-life cheats with all required parameters.
inZOI Cheats: Complete List for Version 0.2.0
Version 0.2.0 massively expanded inZOI’s cheat system — what launched as a single money command is now a full console with dozens of codes covering money, character stats, relationships, building, weather, and more. To use any of them, open Psycat’s Advice, toggle Enable Cheats in the lower-left corner, confirm the warning, then press Ctrl+Shift+C to open the console. Every cheat listed below is verified for v0.2.0 (last checked June 2025).
If you just want the money code: addMoney [X] — replace X with any number and that much Mew drops straight into your household funds. Everything else is below, broken out by category.
How to Enable Cheats in inZOI
Cheats are off by default, and enabling them takes about ten seconds. Here’s the exact process:
- Open the Psycat’s Advice menu (the cat icon in the HUD).
- Look in the lower-left corner for the Enable Cheats toggle — this is new in v0.2.0 and replaces the old method.
- Click the toggle. A pop-up will warn you that cheats may interfere with normal gameplay and, since inZOI is still in early access, some interactions might behave unexpectedly.
- Click Enable to confirm. Cheats are now active for this session.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+C anywhere in-game to open the cheat console.
The console itself has had a proper overhaul — it now includes a one-click X button to close it, which sounds minor but saves a lot of fumbling when you’re mid-story. You’ll need cheats enabled each session unless you save after toggling; the setting persists with your save file.
One practical note: enabling cheats doesn’t disable achievements in v0.2.0, but community testing suggests this could change in a future patch. Use cheats on saves you’re comfortable keeping in “sandbox” territory.
Money Cheats: addMoney and addMeowCoin
Two currencies, two commands. Both work the same way — type the cheat, add your number, hit Enter.
| Cheat | Currency | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| addMoney [X] | Mew | Adds X amount of Mew (main currency) to the active Zoi’s household funds |
| addMeowCoin [X] | Purr Coins | Adds X amount of Purr Coins (reward store currency) to the active Zoi’s funds |
Replace [X] with any integer — there’s no confirmed cap, though extremely large values (think 9999999) may cause display quirks. For most purposes, something like addMoney 500000 is enough to furnish a full lot without ever worrying about bills again.
Purr Coins are the reward store currency used for premium catalogue items. If you’ve been grinding karma-based challenges just to unlock furniture, addMeowCoin skips all of that. Useful specifically for storytellers who want access to the full build catalogue without gameplay gating.
Info Cheats: Displaying Zoi IDs and Coordinates
A surprisingly large number of v0.2.0 cheats require you to know a Zoi’s five-digit ID number before they’ll work — relationship commands, pregnancy cheats, appearance editing, relationship unlocks. Without the right ID, the console just returns an error.
| Cheat | Effect |
|---|---|
| showZoiInfo [true/false] | Toggles a persistent display above every visible Zoi’s head showing their ID number and current map coordinates |
Run showZoiInfo true before using any cheat that asks for a Zoi ID. The display stays on screen while you type in the console, so you can copy the five-digit number directly. Run showZoiInfo false to dismiss it. This is the one cheat you should enable before anything else when setting up a complex relationship chain or running a mass skill-boost.
Coordinates shown here also feed into the teleport command — if you want to move a Zoi to a precise map location you’ve visited before, note the coordinates with showZoiInfo active, then use them later in the teleport command.
Build Cheats: Editing and Object Placement
These two commands open up parts of the map that are normally locked to player editing — useful if you want to redesign a public park, overhaul a workplace, or place studio objects in residential lots.
| Cheat | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| editAllSite [true/false] | Enables editing on all properties including public spaces (parks, workplaces, communal areas) | Excludes roads and streets. Removing functional objects from workplaces will break those locations — NPCs won’t be able to perform work-related interactions. |
| showStudioCategory [true/false] | Makes studio objects available for placement on all property types | Studio items normally restricted to specific lot types can be placed anywhere with this active. |
Fair warning on editAllSite: it’s powerful but easy to break things. Deleting the espresso machine from a café lot, for example, will stop barista NPCs from functioning there. Edit public spaces for aesthetics; try not to gut the functional objects.
Character Cheats: Needs, Skills, Relationships, and Pregnancy
This is the largest category in v0.2.0 and the most useful for anyone using inZOI as a storytelling platform. The commands here let you manipulate almost every variable attached to a Zoi — from maxing a single need to staging a pregnancy, running a career to the top in one command, or poisoning every relationship to zero for drama.
Needs
| Cheat | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| setNeedsFull [Need ID] | Maxes out the specified need, or all needs if no ID is entered | Need IDs: Hunger / Cleanliness / Sleep / Toilet / Fun / Society / Admit / Energy |
| freezeAllNeeds [true/false] | Stops needs from depleting for the active Zoi | |
| freezeAllNeedsSystem [true/false] | Stops needs from depleting for every Zoi in the world |
Aging and Mortality
| Cheat | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| stopAging [true/false] | Freezes aging for the active Zoi | |
| immortalZoi [true/false] | Removes the possibility of death for all Zois | |
| removeZoi [Zoi ID] | Instantly kills the specified Zoi | Child Zois and older only |
Appearance and Career
| Cheat | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| CustomZoi [Zoi ID] | Opens the appearance editor for the specified Zoi | Child Zois and older only |
| JobPromotion | Promotes the active Zoi one level in their current career | |
| hideCatEye [true/false] | Hides or shows the cat’s eye icon above the active player-controlled Zoi’s head | Useful for clean screenshot and machinima work |
Skills
| Cheat | Effect | Skill IDs |
|---|---|---|
| setSkillLevel [skill ID] [level] | Sets the active Zoi’s named skill to the specified level | Charisma / Logic / Programming / Exercise / Art / Filming / Instruments / Cooking / Housework / Gardening / Speaking / Performance / CoffeeArt |
Illness
| Cheat | Effect | Illness IDs |
|---|---|---|
| addIllness [illness ID] | Inflicts the specified illness on the active Zoi | Disease_Cold / Disease_Sneezing / MotionSickness |
| cureIllness | Removes all active illnesses from the active Zoi immediately |
Relationships
All three relationship commands require a Zoi ID — run showZoiInfo true first. Relationship IDs are: Romance / Friendship / Business / Family. Leave the relationship ID blank to affect all bars simultaneously.
| Cheat | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| setRelationshipFull [Zoi ID] [relationship ID] | Maxes out the specified relationship bar with the named Zoi | Omit relationship ID to max all bars |
| setRelationshipWorst [Zoi ID] [relationship ID] | Sets the specified relationship bar to its minimum value | Omit relationship ID to tank all bars |
| setRelationship [Zoi ID] [value] [relationship ID] | Sets the relationship bar to an exact value | Value range: -100 to 100 |
| unlockProfile [Zoi ID] | Reveals all profile information for the named Zoi in the active Zoi’s relationship panel | |
| Obliviate | Wipes all relationship logs for the active Zoi |
Pregnancy
| Cheat | Effect | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| getBabyWith [Zoi ID] | Makes the active Zoi pregnant by the specified Zoi | Active Zoi must be female-coded, specified Zoi must be male-coded, both must be Young Adult or older, household must have fewer than 8 members |
| removePregnancy | Ends the active Zoi’s current pregnancy | |
| helloMyAngel | Triggers immediate birth if the active Zoi is pregnant |
Inventory
| Cheat | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| addItemToBag [object ID] [quantity] | Adds the specified item to the active Zoi’s inventory | Quantity range: 1–100. Object ID list coming in a future update. |
Quality-of-Life Cheats: Teleport, Time, Weather, and Utilities
Quick reference table for everything in this category — these are the “world control” commands.
| Cheat | Effect | Parameters / Notes |
|---|---|---|

| autoUtilitybills [true/false] | Toggles automatic bill payment for all Zois | |
| unlockDoor [true/false] | Lets the active Zoi bypass all permission-locked doors | |
| changeSeason [season ID] | Switches the current season | Season IDs: Spring / Summer / Fall / Winter |
| setSeasonLength [X] | Sets the length of every season in days | Default value is 7 |
| controlWeather [weather ID] [level] | Sets weather type immediately | Weather IDs: Sun / Cloud / Rain / Snow |
| resetkarma | Resets Karma to neutral for all Zois | |
| apocalypseTheWorld | Sets city status and all Karma values to minimum; causes certain households to disappear | Cannot be undone. Save before using. |
apocalypseTheWorld deserves a special callout: it’s the only cheat in v0.2.0 with an irreversible effect on your save. The city status tanks, karma bottoms out across the board, and some households vanish permanently. Genuinely interesting for dark storytelling — just don’t run it on a save you care about without backing up first.
Emergency Features: Rescue Button and Free Placement Mode
These two aren’t console commands, but they solve real problems and most players don’t notice them until something has already gone wrong.
The Emergency Rescue button lives in Psycat’s Advice, just below the money cheat entry. It’s the red button with the running figure icon. If your Zoi gets stuck mid-pathfinding — clipped into a wall, trapped in a corner, frozen trying to route through furniture — hit this and they’ll be reset to a safe location. The alternative is watching them slowly starve or lose bladder control because a door frame had other ideas. Use it freely; it has no downside.
The second is Alt + object drag in Build Mode, which enables free placement — objects can overlap, stack, and ignore normal grid restrictions. The prompt appears automatically when you pick up an object in Build Mode, so the game’s not really hiding it. But for anyone coming from The Sims’ bb.moveobjects, this is the equivalent. Stack books flush on shelves, overlap decorative items, layer rugs — all of it becomes possible. Some extreme combinations can cause Zois to get stuck in objects, which loops neatly back to that Emergency Rescue button.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do inZOI cheats disable achievements?
As of v0.2.0, enabling cheats does not appear to disable achievements. However, since inZOI is in early access, this could change in a future patch. Community testing hasn’t confirmed any achievement lock tied to the cheat toggle as of June 2025.
Why isn’t my cheat working?
The most common cause is a missing or incorrect Zoi ID. Run showZoiInfo true first, check the five-digit number displayed above the target Zoi’s head, then re-enter the command. Also confirm that cheats are enabled via Psycat’s Advice — the console opens regardless, but commands won’t execute without the toggle active.
Can I use getBabyWith on same-sex couples?
Not in v0.2.0. The pregnancy cheats currently require the active Zoi to be female-coded and the target Zoi to be male-coded. Households with same-sex couples will need to wait for a pregnancy system update or use adoption if the feature exists in a future patch.
What does apocalypseTheWorld actually do?
It drops city status to its minimum value, tanks all Zois’ Karma to the lowest possible level, and permanently removes certain households from your save. The effect cannot be reversed — there is no matching “restoreWorld” command. Save before using it.
Is there a cheat to add Zoi ID items or teleport region IDs?
Object IDs for addItemToBag and region IDs for teleport weren’t fully documented at v0.2.0 launch. The coordinates method (using showZoiInfo to copy coordinates, then passing them to the teleport command) is the reliable workaround for teleportation until a full region ID list is available.
Does freezeAllNeeds affect NPC Zois?
freezeAllNeeds only affects the active player-controlled Zoi. freezeAllNeedsSystem affects every Zoi in the world, including NPCs. Use the system-wide version cautiously — it can make NPC behaviour feel more static since need-driven autonomy stops firing.
