Every StarCraft 2 Cheat Code: Full List & How to Use
Complete guide to all 23 StarCraft 2 cheat codes, including how to activate them, what each code does, and which ones work in specific campaigns.
Every StarCraft 2 Cheat Code: Complete List of All 23 Codes
There are 23 known cheat codes in StarCraft 2. All of them are activated through the in-game chat bar during single-player campaigns — press Enter to open chat, type the code exactly as written (capitalization doesn’t matter), then press Enter again to activate. Effects apply instantly. Most codes work across all campaigns, but five are exclusive to Wings of Liberty, and one only functions in custom games.
One critical thing to know before you start: using any cheat code disables achievements for that mission session. If you care about earning achievements, leave the mission and restart before entering any code.
How to Enter Cheat Codes in StarCraft 2
The process is straightforward, but there are a few things that trip people up the first time.
Open the chat bar by pressing Enter during a campaign mission. Type your chosen code — spelling matters, but you can use any combination of uppercase and lowercase letters. Hit Enter again. If the code worked, you’ll see a short confirmation message appear on screen. No confirmation? Double-check your spelling.
A few important limits to understand:
- Cheats work only in campaign missions and some custom maps. They do not function in unranked multiplayer, co-op mode, or standard melee single-player matches.
- You can enter as many codes as you want in a single session — there’s no limit, and they don’t stack negatively against each other.
- Effects cannot be undone once activated. Instant Victory (WhatIsBestInLife) triggers immediately. There’s no cancellation prompt.
- Achievements are disabled the moment any cheat is entered. This persists for that entire mission session, even if you don’t use the code again.
These codes were built into the game by Blizzard — they’re not exploits or memory hacks. Using them in the appropriate modes carries no ban risk whatsoever.

Resource and Economy Codes Worth Knowing
Three codes handle resources directly. SpectralTiger and RealMenDrillDeep each give you 5,000 of a single resource. If you need both, WhoRunBarterTown delivers 5,000 minerals and 5,000 gas in one activation — faster than running the other two separately.
The real power move is stacking these with MoreDotsMoreDots, which zeroes out all unit and building costs entirely. Early campaign missions where you’re intentionally resource-starved become trivially easy. That said, if your goal is to simply max out your army fast, Bunker55AliveInside removes the supply cap, so you can build well past the standard 200 supply limit without raising a single depot or pylon.
IAmIronMan is worth singling out here too. It doesn’t just give you resources — it instantly completes every upgrade in the game at no cost. Combined with CatFoodForPrawnGuns for fast build speed and HanShotFirst for zero cooldowns, you can turn any campaign mission into a sandbox within about 30 seconds of entering codes.
Wings of Liberty Exclusive Codes
Five codes only function in the Wings of Liberty campaign, and they serve a different purpose from the combat-focused cheats. These are primarily for unlocking content rather than gaining an in-mission advantage.
WhySoSerious is the standout — it adds 5,000,000 Credits to your campaign account, which is enough to buy everything in the Armory and Cantina across the entire campaign without playing a single Merc contract or side objective. If you’re replaying Wings of Liberty and want to skip the resource grind between missions entirely, this is the code to enter from the Hyperion hub menu.
LeaveYourSleep unlocks all missions simultaneously, letting you tackle them in any order. This is particularly useful for players who want to experience specific missions without a full playthrough, or who are going for mission-specific achievements on a fresh save (before entering any other codes, obviously).
HoradricCube unlocks all research options — both Zerg and Protoss research trees — without needing to complete the associated research missions. Combined with WhySoSerious for credits, you can have a fully upgraded, fully researched Wings of Liberty campaign in minutes.
EyeOfSauron and StayClassyMarSara are purely cosmetic unlocks. The first opens all cinematics in the archive; the second unlocks the UNN news broadcasts that normally gate behind mission progression. Neither affects gameplay, but they’re handy if you want to watch the full story without replaying.
None of these five codes transfer to Heart of the Swarm or Legacy of the Void. They’re hard-coded to Wings of Liberty’s campaign structure, so entering them in other campaigns simply produces no effect.
What You Should Know Before Using Cheats
The achievement lockout is permanent for that session — there’s no way to re-enable achievements after entering a code without exiting and restarting the mission. This catches a lot of players off guard. If you’re mid-mission and thinking about using TerribleTerribleDamage just to push through a rough section, know that you’re trading every achievement on that mission for it.
NeverGiveUpNeverSurrender and TyuHasLeftTheGame sound similar but work differently. The first lets you keep playing after a defeat triggers — your base got destroyed but the mission doesn’t end. The second disables victory conditions entirely, meaning the mission literally cannot end through normal gameplay. Use TyuHasLeftTheGame if you want to keep building and experimenting without the mission clock or objectives interfering at all.
LetsJustBugOutAndCallItEven — instant defeat — has exactly one practical use: skipping a mission you’ve already completed and don’t want to sit through again. It’s rare, but if you need to restart a campaign from a specific checkpoint, this can be faster than quitting through menus.
One edge case worth knowing: Jaynestown, the Terrazine code, only works in custom games that use the Terrazine resource. It has no effect in standard campaign missions, which don’t use Terrazine at all. If you’re playing a custom map that does use it, this code functions identically to the mineral and gas codes — 5,000 units of the resource, no strings attached.
Finally: all codes listed here have been verified as functional as of January 2025. Blizzard has not patched or removed any campaign cheat functionality since the game’s original release, so these should remain stable going forward.
