In real life, you have to work hard, and even then you may not be guaranteed to get everything good. Fortunately, in The Sims 4 there is a very easy way to achieve this: cheats or rather, tricks! In The Sims 4 you can make your virtual life as easy as typing a word. Some cheats are practical in nature, like the get-rich-quick or free-houses trick, and others allow you to easily start over, like the trick to get your Sim reset. Cheat Codes

To use cheats in Sims 4 you have to type words into the cheat console . On PC, open the cheat console by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C. On Mac you can do this with COMMAND + SHIFT + C. A small text box will appear at the top of the screen. Below we describe which words you can enter here and what their effects are.

Cheats: Lots of money, Reset, free houses and land

Rosebud: get 1,000 Simoleons

Kaching: get 1,000 Simoleons

Motherlode: get 50,000 Simoleons

Reset sim [first name] [family name]: resets the Sim to this name

FreeRealEstate on: put all houses free

FreeRealEstate off: undo the previous trick

Death.toggle: Sims cannot die

Headlineeffects off: change the icons (green diamond and thought bubbles) that are floating above the Sims’ head

Headlineeffects on: cancel the previous command

Fullscreen: put the screen in full or blank mode

Cheats: Sims ready to teleport, change moods and activate cheats

To use these cheats in The Sims 4 you must first type ‘testingcheats true’ (without quotes) in the cheat console. So you will find some special options available when you click on a Sim, or on an object while holding down the SHIFT key. Below we explain the different options.

SHIFT+click on a Sim to open these options:

Cheat Motive – Make Happy: puts your Sim in a happy state

Cheat Motive – Disable Motive Decay: your Sim’s emotions are always the same

Cheat Motive – Enable Motive Decay: override the option above

Reset Object: reset the selected Sim

Add to Family: add the selected Sim to the active family

Modify in CAS: open the Sim in a special editor so you can modify it further

Teleport Me Here: SHIFT+click on a specific place and select the Sim to be teleported to that place

SHIFT+click on an object for the following options:

Reset Object: return the object to its initial state

Make Dirty: make the object dirty

Make Clean: clean the object

Type these cheats into the cheat console to activate them.

fire.toggle true : fires cannot be extinguished.

fire.toggle false : fires can now be extinguished.

sims.spawn : any Sim will be added to your household

sims.spawnsimple : any Sim respawns

money [quantity] : the amount entered is what will remain as a total in your bank account

sims.modify_funds [amount] : the amount entered is added to your bank account

sims.modify_funds [-quantity] : the amount entered will be withdrawn from your bank account

Cheats: quick and learn skills, accumulate aspiration points

To be able to use these cheats you will first have to type ‘testingcheats true’ in the Cheat Console to activate them.

aspirations.complete_current_milestone : your current goal is achieved immediately. This allows you to quickly collect the suction points.

The following trick is a little more complicated, but very useful and you will probably use it often. With this tip you can improve your skill very quickly.

The trick is as follows: stats.set_skill_level [skill] 1-10 where the skill will have to be replaced by one of those listed below, followed by a number from 1 to 10, where 10 is the maximum.

These are the skills. Just type the word in bold! Example: stats.set_skill_level Major_Fishing 10 : you now have all the fish at maximum.

Cheats: quickly forge friendships and relationships

With this tip you can quickly improve your friendships and romantic relationships or even reduce them. To do this you have to type ‘testingcheats true’ in the Cheat Console.

The trick is as follows: modifyrelationship YourFirstName YourSecondName FirstNameTargetSecondNameTarget (-)amount Track_type first enter the name and family name of your active Sim and then the name and family name of the Sim’s friendship or relationship that you want to change. The amount is a value between 0-100. In Track_type you choose between Friendship_Main or Romance_Main. The first is for your friendship level, and the second for your romantic relationship level.

Examples:
modifyrelationship Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie 100 Romance_Main : The romantic relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be set to maximum.
modifyrelationship Jennifer Aniston Brad Pitt -100 Friendship_Main : The friendship between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt will be set to minimum.

It is also important to know that a friendship can transition into a loving state. Therefore, we recommend that if you want to have a romantic relationship with someone, start by keeping your friendship at its maximum.
