How to increase Cyberpunk 2077 performance without losing quality on any video card

Since the release of Cyberpunk 2077 in December 2020, the developers have released a sufficient number of major updates. How to increase game performance

For Cyberpunk 2077, there are a huge number of ways to increase the frame rate on a weak PC. All of them are based on complex third-party mods or manipulations in the game file system, which inevitably leads to a loss of quality. The new method will also require the installation of a modification, but it is extremely easy to use and at the same time integrates the latest scaling technology from AMD into Cyberpunk 2077, allowing you to preserve the image and improve performance.

All FPS increases are based on the technology (FSR) of the latest version, which is analogous to DLSS. The main difference between FSR is that scaling works on any video card, regardless of manufacturer and power. With FidelityFx Super Resolution in Cyberpunk 2077, you can achieve a 2x increase in performance on GTX 10xx series graphics cards and their Radeon equivalents.

To improve Cyberpunk 2077 on your PC, you just need to install a special file that replaces DLSS in the game with FSR 2.0 and activates support for image scaling on all video cards.

Installing FSR 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077

The installation principle of FSR 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 is implemented quite simply and does not require you to perform complex manipulations or download third-party programs.

You will need to do the following:

1. Download FidelityFx Super Resolution 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077;
2. Unpack the archive into the main game directory, where the executable .exe file is located. Your task is to transfer all the .dll files to the game folder;
3. Run the file “EnableSignatureOverride.reg” as an administrator and wait for the process to complete;
4. Launch the game in normal mode and go to graphics settings;
5. Activate the “DLSS” option and select the quality you prefer. This will enable FSR 2.0 in the game.

  

Don’t be afraid to experiment with zoom quality. The increase in performance and picture quality will vary depending on your choice in the settings. The main advantage of FSR 2.0 is that the technology maintains an excellent picture even in low presets and increases FPS in high ones.

Uninstalling FSR 2.0:

1. Remove all installed DLL files.
2. Run the file “DisableSignatureOverride.reg” as an administrator.

If you do not like the effect of installing a file, you can always cancel all changes.
