7 Essential Tips for World of Warcraft Classic Players
Many people play WoW Classic, so we decided to share with you information that will greatly facilitate the gameplay. Compared to the current version, classic WoW is chaotic, and it is full of different secrets that can only be learned by chance.
Boosting
If players do not have enough time to spend on the game, then they can use boosting. Back when the game first came out, there was no such option – you had to do everything yourself. Unfortunately, many players do not like to level up their accounts or farm resources. For example, gold is the most important resource; you can’t play without it. Therefore, more cunning players use the purchase of Season of Discovery gold so as not to waste time and effort on this. In addition to buying gold, you can also order leveling, dungeons, and raids, as well as coaching.
Monster Separation
Sooner or later you will find yourself in a situation where there is a group of enemies in front of you that will easily kill you if you decide to attack them at the same time. Luckily, Classic allows you to separate these groups. If you only hit one monster while the others are running, then eventually only the one you hit will remain and the rest will run away. In the current version of the game, there is a limit on how far a character can run, so it won’t be possible to separate the monsters like that – and it’s not necessary, with all the abilities we now have, such monsters die in a matter of seconds.
Hydro cane
The Water Cane is a staff that allows its wearer to breathe underwater. In Classic, compared to the current version of the game, air runs out much faster underwater, and in some missions that force you to go underwater, you can forget about air and accidentally die – but not with the Water Cane! It has a plus – since it is a weapon, you can simply change it at any time, for example, when you run out of air, and return your old weapon – thus you do not lose characteristics, but you essentially get endless underwater breathing. This stuff can be obtained from the Sticky Muthi in Gnomeregan (level 30 dungeons) and has approximately a 30% drop rate.
Weapon Skills
Classic has skills for every weapon type. And with enemies constantly avoiding your attacks, leveling up these skills can take a long time, especially if you’re a warrior. So, the first tip is that the Intelligence stat increases the speed at which you develop weapon skills, which many people forget about. Tip two (and most important) – in the Blasted Lands there are servants of Grol/Razelikh/Allistaria/Sevyn who are part of the storyline, which at low health levels become essentially whipping dummies – you must use a story item to weaken them and kill them. However, you can instead use their invulnerability to level up your weapon skills very effectively. You can find them near the Dark Portal.
The fastest and easiest way to farm soul shards
As you know, warlocks use soul shards to cast powerful spells that are not only mechanically interesting (for example, to summon a powerful demon), but also cause heavy damage. However, you can only get shards from monsters of your level, which greatly limits how you can get them at level 60. However, there is a very effective and hidden place for such farming – Raven Hill in Duskwood. Using the Detect Invisibility ability, you will see a bunch of stray souls from which it is easy to farm shards.
Seasonal fish
Advice for those who like to fish in Classic. Two fish in the game can only be caught at certain times of the year. These are winter squid, which can be caught between September 23 and March 19, and summer perch, which can be caught from March 20 to September 22. Squid is more valuable because it is used to create the most powerful food that increases agility. Perch is used for food, and increasing spirit, so it can be useful, mainly for priests who do not want to spend money on more expensive food. By selling fish that cannot be caught now, you can accumulate enough gold. For example, you can catch summer perch until September 22, after which it will be unavailable for 6 months.
Helcular Farm
Advice for Alliance players. In Hillsbrad, the Horde has a quest to summon an undead necromancer named Helcular – this is quite difficult because you need to go to the graveyard, but in return, the necromancer will terrorize the leveling area for a while. He is a level 44 elite monster, but the interesting thing about him is that he always drops green objects. As a result, it is very profitable to farm for loot, especially after the game releases – considering that many Hordes will be completing tasks in this zone. So you can just stand there and wait for Helcular to appear if you want to earn gold easily.
I would like to add that there are many more tricks in the game and some players keep them secret to remain at the top of the gaming Olympus. However, this does not prevent you from playing more thoughtfully and noticing more and more subtleties in Wow Classic.
