Saturnalia – hand drawn horror, which works at the same time at 60 and 12 fps
At the PAX East 2020 festival showed horror gameplay with elements of “Rogan” Saturnalia. It would probably be lost among other gaming horrors if it were not for a visual style – the hand drawn picture is updated with a frequency of 60 frames per second, while the animation goes at 12 fps.
Thirty years ago, an ancient ritual took place in the fictional Italian village of Gráv, as a result of which local residents were missing. Sold up the mystery of the settlement will have four characters for which they will have to solve puzzles and hide from monsters.
The death of any of the protagonists will not lead to the loading of the last save – you will simply pass control over another hero, which will be able to use the achievements of the previous. Locations are generated randomly, so every new passage will be unique.
