Multiplayer For Euro Truck Simulator 2 And American Truck Simulator Entered The Release

SCS Software released the final version of the patch 1.41, the main feature of which is the Multiplayer Mode “Convoy”. The update concerns both current studio games – Euro Truck Simulator 2 And American Truck Simulator.

Now in one “convoy” is placed up to eight players, but in the future the limit is planning to increase. The authors allocate the following features of the multiplayer:

• Synchronized road traffic (including random events).
• Synchronized weather and time.
• Synchronized coloring, cargoes, truck accessories and driver cabin.
• The ability to take the same task as other players.
• Communication on the radio, through the quick response menus or in text chat.

How the developers warn, at the moment there are no mods in the multiplayer, and traffic can disappear when one of the players is turned off. In addition, the condition of the lifting bridges is not synchronized: they remain fixed in the “convoy”.

Just in case, before entering the multiplayer, preservation is made: you never know, suddenly, when you have a game on the network, something unpredictable happens, after which you want to roll back the state of the world.

In patch 1.41 also expand the photoregore, add A24 road in addition Iberia for ETS2, contribute the first part of the visual changes to California from ATS, and also introduce an option for quick movements and sleep the map with new types of icons.
