The development of Boreal Alyph – the fan version of Half-Life 2: Episode Three

In February, the team of enthusiasts Keep Away From Fire introduced gameplay Boreal Alyph – its version Half-Life 2: Episode Three based on fused drafts from the scenario of the series Mark Laidloou (MARC Laidlaw). It seems that this version of the Third Episode will not see: Keep Away From Fire announced termination of development.

About what caused the reason to promise to tell for several days. The team plans to lay out the created game materials in open access, so that all involvement and sympathizers get at least some benefit from the project.

The letter mentions some problems from which Keep Away From Fire suffered from the very beginning. Perhaps the team under the current title will decay, but some team members intend to work together and on.

Recall that Boreal Alyph – not the only fan attempt to create Half-Life 2: Episode Three from Skoloskov Ladlou. There is still at least Project Borealis. Games differ in approach: in Boreal Alyph used an improved version of the SOURCE engine, and Project Borealis Build on Unreal Engine, where the gameplay is configured under the feeling on Source.
