Riot Games bought the developers HYTALE – MINECRAFT Killers

At the end of 2018 Riot Games became an investor studio Hypixel, which decided to turn a popular server Minecraft In a full-fledged game in a similar cubic style – Hytale. Today, the partnership of two companies has reached a new level: Riot Bought Hypixel.

Thanks to the deal, developers will be able to benefit from resources and experience Riot, while maintaining operational and creative independence. Budget Hytale grows up, and the studio will enjoy consulting support. The current composition of developers will remain in place.

Hypixel Studios Also retain its current structure and will open an additional office in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, which will occur with auxiliary functions and quality verification. The company is already looking for 20 employees in a new office and in the future plans to expand the team.

Acquisition will not affect the Hypixel server in Minecraft. What concerns Hytale, then it is still scheduled for 2021. Platform for now – PC.
