King Arthur: Knight’s Tale – Project based on the legends about King Arthur. Developers from Neocoregames Describe your creation as a “unique mixture of a step-by-step tactical game with a classic RPG”. In the first diary of development, the authors tried to explain what exactly it is behind such a characteristic.
The following was demonstrated in the video:
- Because Knight’s Tale Created “hardcores for hardcores”, every trifle and every decision will be important.
- Units get less damage if they are hiding behind the shelters. These may also use opponents.
- It is important to explore the environment and weigh the situation before the battle – somewhere it is better to approach the enemy from the flank, and in other conditions the victory will bring exactly the frontal attack. At the same time, do not forget about traps and hidden warriors.
- On the way, the hero has to constantly make a choice: to become a tyrant or a fair ruler, to remain faithful Christianity or turn to the old faith and so on. Such solutions form morality of the protagonist and affect relations with knights and other characters. Some of the proposed options will force the hero to choose between more and less evil, and the effects of decisions will be felt until the end of the game.
- As in other traditional RPG, in Knight’s Tale Characters are gaining experience and can pump their skills. Using the found Lute, you can improve certain characteristics of the heroes.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale Already available in early Steam access for 619 rubles, and later the game will look at PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
