The Russian Ministry of Sports officially recognized the cybersport (again)
Thousands of days, domestic gamers who are interested in multiplayer games will be able to proudly declare that they do not waste time, but are officially recognized as a sport!

The Ministry of Sports of Russia issued an order, according to which the cybersport will be considered a really existing discipline. The document must enter into force ten days after the publication.

This means that from June 17, 2016, competitions on eSports can be held under the auspices of the Maxport, and in the results of the competition and after the performance of qualification standards, the cyberports will be able to obtain the title of “Master of Sports of Russia”, “Master of Sports of the International Class” and “Honored Master of Sports of Russia”.

True, it is not yet clear which disciplines will approve the ministry, as well as what tournaments are suitable for the proud titles of the Master of Sports.

Strictly speaking, earlier, cybersport was already considered the official sport in our country: an order for this appeared in 2001. Moreover, Russia was the first country in the world where this happened! However, in 2006, cyberports were excluded from the All-Russian Register of Sports.

Let’s hope that the second pancake does not come.
