Square Enix Nearest Games will not be exclusted nextegen

If you are waiting for the first games of the new generation of unprecedented beauty and technological breakthroughs, hold horses – as usual, first of the industry you need to overcome the transitional stage when developers and publishers produce entertainment with a loaf of pastgen. One of these companies will be Square Enix.

Summing up the third quarter of the 2020 fiscal year, the publisher touched upon the thesis of the upcoming consoles. The president Square Enix Yosuke Matsuda (Yosuke Matsuda) said that thanks to the backward compatibility of the game, the company will appear on nextgen, but talk about projects created only for a new generation of devices, while early:

Next Generation Consoles support backward compatibility, so at the moment we intend to produce our new games on the current and next generations. Accordingly, there will be some time before we start making products exclusively on the new generation of platforms.
