God of War 2018 will earn on PS5 in chess 4K at 60 fps
Today, February 2, Santa Monica Studio will launch a patch for God of War 2018 on PlayStation 5, which will allow playing with maximum resolution and performance at the same time.
Initially, two mode with PS4 Pro is available in the PS5 version of the game – with elevated resolution or increased frame rate. Now you do not have to choose (well, almost):
- “Improved performance” – 4K with chess rendering at 60 fps.
- “Original Performance” – 4K with Chess Rendering at 30 FPS.
The first mode will be enabled by default.
Note that this is not a complete upgrade to nextegen, but an update for backward compatibility. Looks like a full suspender to the PS5 level, you can not wait – now the studio is busy God of War: Ragnarök and non-announced project.
The God of War (2018) Enhanced Performance Experience for the PS5 IS COMING TOMORROW!
✔️ Syncs to 60 fps
✔️ 4K Checkerboard Resolution
✔️ 2160p
