Emulator and Fresh Patch allowed to play in Demon’s Souls on PC at 60 FPS
Demon’s Souls – Firstborn Souls-Series, which remained an exclusive for PlayStation 3. However, computer players could still partially fix this annoying misunderstanding using the RPCS3 emulator. The new patch raised the frame rate from 30 to 60.
In fact, the fresh update allows you to play not only at 60 fps, but even at 120. True, in the second case there is a problem – when a collision with obstacles and other geometry, the levels of the character movement will be very slow.
In addition, due to increased frame rate, cat-scenes are accelerated. But this is not the most serious from the roughness of the emulatory version – the rollers in the game of all.
Finally, the frame rate counter can deceive you: if your computer is not enough powerful to pull 60 fps, then in the appropriate mode, the game will duplicate frames, artificially bringing them to the cherished frequency.
To play B Demon’s Souls On PC, you will need a disk version of the game (the version for PSN does not fit) and the emulator RPCS3. Link to patch with 60 fps and an explanation of the installation process you will find here.
