“Soliter” for Windows methyl in the Hall of Fame of Video Games, but others got there
The National Museum of The Strong Games in New York announced a video game in the international hall: along with the list of applicants, the organizers called and winners.
This year 12 games fought for honor:
● Donkey Kong;
● Final Fantasy VII;
● Halo: Combat Evolved;
● Microsoft Windows Solitaire;
● Mortal Kombat;
● Myst;
● Pokémon red And Green;
● Portal;
● Resident Evil;
● Street Fighter II;
● Tomb Raider;
● Wii Sports.
But the places in the Hall of Glory were honored only Donkey Kong, Halo: Combat Evolved, Pokémon red And Green, as well as Street Fighter II. According to the organizers, these games cover several decades, appeared in different countries and on different platforms, but each had an influence on the industry of interactive entertainment, mass culture and society as a whole.
Anyone can nominate the game in the Hall of Fame, but the final decision is carried out on the recommendations of journalists, scientists and other connoisseurs of the history of video games and their role in our world.
Now in the Hall of Fame (except for the four above-mentioned newcomers) are located Doom, Grand Theft Auto III, The Legend of Zelda, The Oregon Trail, Pac-Man, Pong, The Sims, Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Invaders, Super Mario Bros., World of Warcraft And Tetris.
