Strategy Company of Heroes 2 stands out for long support – it gets patches even seven years after the release! Fresh update partly connected with a recent launch in the Xbox Game Pass subscription – now users of different platforms can play together.
The update has already happened. List of basic changes Next:
- Added support for 64-bit systems. For the overwhelming majority of players, this should give high performance and stability.
- Added cross-play between Steam and Xbox Game Pass / Microsoft Store.
- Added new multiplayer maps from the community:
- 1 on 1 – Mill Road, Amilly Fields, Ploiesti Outskirts, Bocage.
- 2 on 2 – Wolfheze, Belgorod, Highway to Baku, Dreux Scout.
- Several old cards are processed – also by the efforts of the community:
- 1 on 1 – Bayeux, Crossroad Winter, Vilshanka.
- 2 on 2 – Alliance of Defiance.
- 3 by 3 or 4 to 4 – Lienne Forest.
Just in case, Steam left a 32-bit version – it will be useful to users with old computers. To install it, you need to subscribe to the corresponding beta testing in the properties of the game in the library.
The Xbox Game Pass directory laid out the publication Company of Heroes 2: Complete Collection – Apparently, it includes all previously published add-ons.
