The “Workshop Steam” Appeared In Terraria
“Really last” content update for Terraria It turned out in October 2020, but a series of patches was not yet over. Now the “Workshop” support added to the Steam version – to share mods and download them more convenient.
As developers write, the following is established through the “workshop”:
- Mira. Your cards for play. The tag system provides: you can choose a location by the level of complexity, size and other features – for example, to extract new golf worlds!
- Resource kits. This includes modifications of textures, music and in-game text. The latter will come in handy, for example, for amateur translations or custom dialogs with NPC.
On the page with the “workshop” there is also a selection of the best creations by developers. To the list not empty, now the sets of alternative textures from artists are included Terraria.
Developers clarify that the “workshop” does not replace extended tools for modding – the most advanced creations still work through the fan tmodloader utility. True, she is slightly lagging behind the actual game: it’s still needed for TMODLoader Terraria Version 1.3.5, but work on support 1.4 and above are actively underway.
Not so long ago Terraria translated for 35 million copies – sales from the game do not slow down.
