Media: The New Switch Model Will Go Into Production This Summer, Will Be Released For New Year Holidays
Bloomberg journalists have expanded the next portion of information about the new Nintendo Switch model:
- The new model will be inserted by OLED displays from Samsung.
- Display size – 7 inches, resolution – 720p.
- The current version of SWITCH – LCD, 6.2 inches and 720p. SWITCH LITE – LCD, 5.5 inches and 720p.
- Mass production of displays for new models is scheduled for June.
- First circulation – almost a million copies.
- Displays must go to the plants for assembling the console in July.
- New model Switch are going to send on sale to New Year holidays.
According to Bloomberg, prices for the so-called hard panels OLED from Samsung now fall – they produce too much. This type of display more efficiently consumes energy compared to the LCD (and therefore the battery holds longer), offers increased contrast and, possibly reduce the response time.
According to rumors, the new SWITCH model will be able to display a signal in 4K in a stationary mode, but iron if it is improved, then slightly.
